Prepping for a girls trip to Listowel...

Breaking news... We're heading to Listowel Celtic Arts Weekend!

Good question: "We? Who are we???"

We are 3 creative individuals, both artists and crafters because guess what, we can't stick to do only one thing! 3 very different persons, each one of us owning a small business based on handmade products, starting from tiny items such as keychains and suncatchers to large pieces of artwork! Very different like I said but together, we have it all !

We are Sarah, Tanny and Roxy and our brands are as follows:

Sarah, owner of Glanden Design...

I'd say she has a strong passion for pencils, celts and beads. Her artwork is complex and exact, based on numerology, geometry and celtic symbols. She can transform any idea in a unique design. What about the passion for beads? Well, she's making all sorts of suncatchers and I can share with you her famous words about this craft "Once I start making them, I cannot stop". She also does so many other things like candles, smudge sticks, keychains, cards and I could go on, everything made by her own hands. She has a website, Instagram and Facebook so go ahead and check her out, you will love her vibe !

Tanny, owner of Flutter By Tannee...

Well, here we have our whimsical part! Everything she does is creative and diverse, she can take a piece of wood and transforming it into something amazing! I still remember her gnomes from Christmas market, the right materials put all together and she made the most stunning decor. All her items have that whimsy and magical touch and who knows what she will create next? One day she told me "I have no idea what I will do tomorrow" and this is totally her vibe, you never know what idea she'll have next. Decor, suncacthers, coasters, keychains and so much more you can find at her stall !!!

... and me, Roxy, owner of WR ImperfectArt!

I am the restless painter of the group and I never stick to one subject for a very long time. All my work shared here and across social media can speak for itself and you can find out more about me by reading these diary pages or on other sections:

What is Listowel Celtic Arts Weekend?

Event that will celebrate the anduring legacy and contemporary expression of Celtic art across visual arts, design, archaeology, craft, and related disciplines. It aims to foster collaboration between artists, researchers and cultural practicioners, while engaging the wider public through accesible events and exhibitions throughout the town.

Sarah was invited to host a workshop during the festival and that's how we ended up to travel to Listowel. We will be like a "part of the team", we will show up there and do our part. This is an opportunity to sell our work through their gift shop so it's the right moment for me to grab my viking themed artwork and bringing it with me!

You can find out more about my viking themed collection on Page 2 of my diary!!!
